Email & Domain Setup

Email & Domain Setup

Your business email can use your own domain instead of a personal address. We set up professional email with the provider that fits your team, handle the DNS records (MX, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC), migrate up to five mailboxes where supported, configure forwarding and shared aliases, and provide a handoff. The one-time setup is $249 regardless of provider. Provider subscriptions are billed directly to you, so you own the account; current features and pricing should always be confirmed with that provider. The migration schedule is set after we review mailbox size, DNS access, and provider requirements.

Quick answer

Common Questions

FAQ

Everything you need to know about this service.

Which email provider should I use — Neo, Google Workspace, Zoho?

It depends on the team, workflow, and provider features. Neo Mail can be a fit for a smaller email-focused setup, while Google Workspace can fit teams that need shared Drive, Calendar, and Meet. Zoho is another option. Provider features and current pricing change, so we review the current options with you during intake rather than treating a published price as permanent.

How much does email setup cost?

$249 one-time for the full setup regardless of provider — that covers DNS records (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC), account creation, migration of up to 5 mailboxes from your old provider, shared alias configuration, and team training. The recurring email cost (Neo, Google, Zoho) is billed directly to you by the provider so there's no middleman markup.

Can I keep my old emails when I migrate?

We can migrate up to five mailboxes from a compatible provider via IMAP. We review folders, labels, history, mailbox size, and access before scheduling the cutover; provider limits and source data determine what can be moved. Additional mailboxes are billed at $25 each.

Why is Neo Mail cheaper than Google Workspace?

They offer different feature sets and pricing models. A smaller email-focused provider can suit a simple workflow, while Google Workspace includes a broader collaboration suite. We compare the current provider plans against the tools your team actually uses.

Do I have to switch from Google Workspace if I already use it?

Not at all. If you're happy with Google Workspace, stay on it — we'll just make sure your DNS, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records are clean. The Email & Domain Setup service works whether you're starting fresh, switching providers, or just tightening up what you already have.

What happens to email forwarding from my old provider?

Where the provider supports it, we configure a temporary forwarding plan and help update signatures and third-party integrations. The duration and behavior are confirmed against the source provider before the old account is closed.

What's the catch with the cheap providers?

Two real ones. (1) Neo Mail and Zoho have smaller support staffs than Google — issues that come up are usually resolved via documentation and email, not a 24/7 phone line. (2) Their ecosystems are smaller — there is no Neo equivalent of Google Drive, Calendar, Meet, and Docs all integrated. If your team needs those, the Google Workspace premium is justified.

Will my emails land in spam?

SPF, DKIM, and DMARC are important authentication controls and are included in the setup. They support responsible sending, but no configuration can guarantee inbox placement because recipient systems, message content, reputation, and sending behavior also matter. We verify the records and hand off the results.
