Email & Domain Setup
Your business email should be name@yourbusiness.com — not name@gmail.com or, worse, name@aol.com. We set up professional email at your own domain in one business day, on whichever provider fits your budget and team size. For most small businesses, we recommend Neo Mail ($1.99/user/mo, what Anthony personally uses for ANTHONY.) — it includes a free domain, anti-spam, anti-phishing, and a polished webmail interface. For teams that need shared calendars, Drive folders, and Meet, Google Workspace ($6/user/mo) is the gold standard. We handle the DNS records (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC), migrate up to 5 mailboxes from your old provider, set up forwarding rules and shared aliases, and train your team. The one-time setup is $249 regardless of provider. The recurring email cost (Neo or Google) is billed directly to you by the provider so you own the account — we never insert ourselves as a middleman on your email.

How this differs from the standard approach
Side-by-side: what most agencies do vs how we do it.
| Aspect | Traditional approach | ANTHONY. Edge |
|---|---|---|
| Setup cost | Free if DIY (but takes 10+ hours of DNS swearing) | $249 one-time, done in a day |
| Provider choice | Locked into whatever your domain registrar bundles | Neo, Google, Zoho, Fastmail — we set up whichever fits |
| Per-user recurring cost | Google Workspace at $6/user/mo, billed via your agency | Neo Mail at $1.99/user/mo, billed directly to you — you own the account |
| Anti-spam setup | SPF/DKIM/DMARC? Most don't bother. Emails land in spam. | All three records configured and verified day one |
| Shared aliases | Forwarding rules a manager has to build | info@, sales@, support@ set up with the right routing |
| Migration of old mail | You manually export and re-import .mbox files | IMAP migration of up to 5 mailboxes included |
FAQ
Everything you need to know about this service.
Which email provider should I use — Neo, Google Workspace, Zoho?
It depends on your team. Neo Mail ($1.99/user/mo) is what we recommend for most solo operators and small teams — it's cheap, the UI is clean, and the free domain is a real perk. Google Workspace ($6/user/mo) is worth it if you need shared Drive folders, Calendar, and Meet for a team of 3+. Zoho is the budget option if you want Google-Workspace-style features at a lower price. We'll tell you which fits in our intake call.
How much does email setup cost?
$249 one-time for the full setup regardless of provider — that covers DNS records (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC), account creation, migration of up to 5 mailboxes from your old provider, shared alias configuration, and team training. The recurring email cost (Neo, Google, Zoho) is billed directly to you by the provider so there's no middleman markup.
Can I keep my old emails when I migrate?
Yes. We migrate up to 5 mailboxes from your old provider via IMAP, which preserves all folders, labels, and history. Migration usually takes a few hours per mailbox depending on volume. Mailboxes beyond 5 are billed at $25 each.
Why is Neo Mail cheaper than Google Workspace?
Different feature sets. Neo Mail is purely email + simple calendar — that's why it can run at $1.99/user/mo and include a free domain. Google Workspace bundles Drive, Docs, Sheets, Meet, and shared calendars, which is why it's $6+/user/mo. If you only need email and you do not need a shared Drive, Neo is the obvious pick.
Do I have to switch from Google Workspace if I already use it?
Not at all. If you're happy with Google Workspace, stay on it — we'll just make sure your DNS, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records are clean. The Email & Domain Setup service works whether you're starting fresh, switching providers, or just tightening up what you already have.
What happens to email forwarding from my old provider?
We configure your old provider to forward incoming mail to the new one for 30–60 days so nothing in flight gets lost. Once you and your team have updated your business cards, signatures, and any third-party integrations, you can shut down the old account.
What's the catch with the cheap providers?
Two real ones. (1) Neo Mail and Zoho have smaller support staffs than Google — issues that come up are usually resolved via documentation and email, not a 24/7 phone line. (2) Their ecosystems are smaller — there is no Neo equivalent of Google Drive, Calendar, Meet, and Docs all integrated. If your team needs those, the Google Workspace premium is justified.
Will my emails land in spam?
Not if SPF, DKIM, and DMARC are configured correctly — which is included in every setup. Most "my emails go to spam" complaints we hear come from businesses whose DNS was set up by their domain registrar without any of these auth records. We verify deliverability with a Mail-Tester score of 9+/10 before we hand off.
