Custom Business Tools
Custom Business Tools is where ANTHONY. builds an internal app, customer portal, calculator, dashboard, or automation that is not available off the shelf. Examples include quote calculators, client portals, job-tracking dashboards, and lead-routing workflows. Pricing is custom because scope is custom; we quote after a free scoping call. Many v1 tools fall between $1,500 and $7,500, with optional ongoing retainers for new features. You own the code and data. Hosting and capacity are designed around the approved requirements and reviewed as the tool grows; no system should promise a fixed scale or savings without assessing its workload and integrations.

FAQ
Everything you need to know about this service.
What kind of custom tools can you build?
A lot. Common builds: quote calculators, client portals, internal dashboards, lead-routing automations, custom checkout flows, booking systems, invoice generators, inventory trackers, multi-step form builders, and anything in between. If it runs in a browser and touches data, we can probably build it. Hardware integration (POS systems, IoT) is also possible but a bigger conversation.
How much do custom tools cost?
Most v1 builds land between $1,500 and $7,500 depending on complexity. A simple quote calculator is at the low end. A full client portal with auth, document signing, and payment is at the high end. We do a free 30-minute scoping call to give you a firm range before any commitment — no surprise invoices.
How long does a custom tool take to build?
The schedule depends on the approved workflow, integrations, data, security review, and feedback. After scoping, we provide a written delivery plan with planned checkpoints so you can see progress and steer the direction.
Who owns the code and the data?
You do — both. You get the full source code on day one, hosted in your own GitHub or in ours (your call). Your customer data lives in a database you control. If you ever want to fire ANTHONY. and hand the code to another developer, you can — and that other developer will be able to pick it up because we use mainstream tools (TypeScript, React, Cloudflare Workers, Postgres).
What's the catch?
Real ones. (1) Custom tools cost more upfront than an off-the-shelf subscription, and the financial case depends on the current toolset, maintenance needs, and adoption. (2) You take on responsibility for the tool's operating model. We are not a 24/7 NOC, so systems that require round-the-clock availability need an explicit support and infrastructure plan.
Can you integrate with my existing tools?
Yes, in most cases. If a tool exposes a public API, we can build a custom tool that talks to it. If your existing tool has no public API, we will either find a workaround (webhooks, email parsing) or be upfront that the integration is not feasible.
What if my requirements change mid-build?
That is normal. We use planned feedback checkpoints so requirements can evolve. Small changes are handled within the agreed scope when possible; material changes are re-scoped and re-quoted before work continues. There are no silent change orders.
How do you price ongoing maintenance?
After v1 ships, ongoing work is hourly ($85/hr) or retainer ($400/mo for 5 hrs of feature work + bug fixes). Whether a retainer is useful depends on the tool's change rate, integrations, and support needs; we will document the available options rather than assume one is required.
